    the apple tree – november

    Many of the trees in the churchyard have lost their leaves, but the apple tree is still holding on to them. Though they are starting to yellow and brown. The ivy flowers below the tree are beginning to form berries. I love their starry shapes. Joining in with Loose and Leafy’s ‘Tree Following’ project.

      The apple tree in October is still green and in full leaf. The autumn rain and winds have started though, so how much longer the leaves will remain on the tree I don’t know.       Fred had a special presentation from Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust to show their appreciation for completing his 2 Peak Challenge and raising a massive £278 for their ’30 days to save Dolforwyn’ appeal. They have a nice write up about it here. It has all been such a fantastic experience for him!

        The apple tree is basking in the warm September sunshine.
