The first of our summer Sunday Open Days is coming up…

We’ve been standing near this window all day today welcoming visitors to the church for our open day. It’s been wonderful seeing familiar faces who continue to support us to see how we’re getting on, and welcoming new visitors who become enchanted by this beautiful building! Thank you all for your support today!

We will be open this Sunday 7th September, 10am – 5pm. We are looking forward to welcoming you to view the interior of the nave and see how our restoration work is progressing. Also available is the ‘Discovering Gravestones Trail’ to learn more of the interesting gravestones in the churchyard.

Open Day
Christ Church will be open Sunday 6th July 10am – 5pm To view the interior, learn some of its history and see how the restoration work is progressing. And come and sample some of our homemade elderflower cordial!

This week we have been putting together a leaflet for the ‘Discovering Gravestones Trail’, which we are launching next Sunday 8th June at our Open Day (10am – 5pm). The trail will hopefully encourage people to explore the churchyard to discover some of the interesting gravestones here and learn a little more of Welshpool’s heritage. The event is part…
