      A section of a stained glass window in the north west corner of the church, with a suitable Easter theme. We hope that you all had a lovely Easter. We had a wonderful few days away in sunny Dolgellau, walking in the mountains. I’m not sure that we’ve come back rested, but certainly refreshed. Image of the Week #83

    Up in the belfry there is a signature of possibly one of the original church builders. We spent the afternoon re-pointing the walls up there. It is so exposed that the mortar inside the walls gets washed away. There is evidence of a lot of previous re-pointing work up there. Image of the Week #82

      The camellias are giving a good show in the flower border adjacent to the church and they don’t seem to mind a bit of scaffolding! This border was originally planted up by the gardeners of Powis Castle as it is next to the Powis family tombs. Image of the Week #81

    Several areas of the churchyard are carpeted with lesser celandines – along with clumps of primroses and daffodils, it’s all looking very yellow! Image of the Week #80
