We have expanded our greetings card range to include more photographs of Christ Church. These would make lovely Christmas cards. They are priced at £2.50 each (£2 for the smaller snowy Christ Church). We are open every Thursday and Friday 12 – 3pm up until December 19th.
Whilst driving through Leighton earlier this week, I spotted this view of the church so pulled over to take this photograph. How idyllic (and rural) the church looks amongst the trees. Image of the Week #113

Many of the trees in the churchyard have lost their leaves, but the apple tree is still holding on to them. Though they are starting to yellow and brown. The ivy flowers below the tree are beginning to form berries. I love their starry shapes. Joining in with Loose and Leafy’s ‘Tree Following’ project.
This embroidered picture has been hanging in the south porch for longer than we’ve been here. We have started to restore the interior of the porch so the picture was taken down. I turned it over to reveal this wonderful Victorian label by the picture framer – along with one of our numerous spider residents! Image of the Week #111
Have been enjoying this view all week while painting ceilings and walls. Not used to an outside view! Image of the week #110
