    Landing lights

A house update is long overdue, so I thought I’d show you how the landing has progressed. Over the summer the ceiling and walls have been painted, along with the railing along the edge of the landing (and boy did that take a long time!). The walls are painted in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Pointing’ and the railing in ‘Borrowed Light’.…

Over 155 people came (breaking our previous attendance record!) to view the interior of the church, and to see our house conversion, and at one point people were queuing to get in! There was a wonderful atmosphere enhanced by impromptu organ recitals and people sitting on pews chatting…

Last week the large Cedar tree was cut down – which I shall write a post about shortly. It has revealed a view of the church which hasn’t been seen for 157 years (Fred and Owen counted the rings!) Image of the Week #51
